Watermarking

Some sites may require watermarking on their video content. This can be configured by going to the Watermarking page in the Configure Users and Groups wizard.

Select the checkbox Show Watermarking to enable watermarking by default. Operators will still have the option to temporarily disable this feature, if required, by right-clicking on the video screen itself at any point and selecting Temp Deactivate Watermarking. Disable Display (secs) allows you to determine the length of temporary deactivation if an operator selects this option from the video screen.

Enter the site name. This will then display as the top line on your watermarking.

Configuring Watermarking for User Groups

You can also configure watermarking for specific user groups by going to the advanced configuration menu and selecting Users -> Setup User Group Permissions.

On the Settings page, select Show Watermarking.

How Watermarking Displays on Screen

Once configured, watermarking will display as shown, with the site name, camera details, user group name, workstation and timestamp visible.

To temporarily disable this option, right-click on the Video screen to open the context menu and select Temp Deactivate Watermarking.
