Workflows
A workflow guides you through a sequence of connected steps. Each step follows the precedent without delay and depends on the decision of the precedent step. Decisions can be made automatically because they depend on a system value or state. Decisions can also depend on user input when answering a question.
Typically workflows are associated with alarms and are automatically started upon receipt of the associated alarm.
The Start Workflow button launches the Select Workflow to Run dialog, which allows you to manually start a workflow.
All available workflows are displayed as buttons in the dialog. To run a workflow, simply click the button. The Select Workflow to Run dialog will close and the workflow will be started in the Workflow tab, displaying the first step. Depending on the response at each step a next step is displayed until the workflow is completed.
Workflows are setup via Setup->System Setup->Macros and Tours->Design Workflow.
