The Camera Details Report

The Camera Details report provides a table of information regarding all cameras set up on your system. The following screenshot shows the columns included in the table.

Use the Search Filter to narrow your report to a specific name or type of camera or you can report on all cameras in the list. You can also filter the data by selecting column-level values. For details on filtering reports with column-level values, see Filtering Reports on page 1.

To generate a report, when the data that you want is displayed, select an output format and click the Save Data As button at the bottom of the Reports tab.

Note: The Table Design tools in this report are subject to user group permissions. For more information, see your system administrator.

A specific feature of this report is that you can export the retention period into .CSV and then import any changes back in again. The retention periods will then be updated in both Synergy and RMS.

To do this, you will first need to go to Table Design - Select Displayed Columns. Scroll through Next four times and you will see a column I Frame Retention. You will need to select this and add it to the table.

You can then export the data to .CSV and it will include retention data. If you make changes to the .CSV file, you can then go to the Csv Import button and import the changes into Synergy. RMS will also be automatically updated.
