The Point Of Sales Reports
The Point Of Sales reports provide tables of information regarding all Point of Sales transactions that take place on your site. The following screenshot shows some of the columns included in the Point of Sales Transactions table. There are a range of other example reports that you can use.
To customize the table's columns, click the ellipsis (...) button in the top-right corner of the table.
The following Point Of Sales (POS) reports are available:
- Point Of Sales Transactions - Lists POS transactions.
- Point Of Sales Transaction Items -Lists items traded in POS transactions.
- Point Of Sales Extended Data - Provides additional POS transaction information, including the service charge percentage processed.
- Point Of Sales Voids - Lists voided POS transactions.
- Point Of Sales No Sales -Lists complimentary POS items/transactions.
- Point Of Sales Cancels - Lists canceled POS transactions.
- Point Of Sales Check Open Excessive Time - Lists POS transactions that have been open for an excessively long time period.
- Point Of Sales Check Small Total Due - Lists POS transactions that totaled an unusually small sum of money.
- Point Of Sales Check High Service Percent - Lists POS transactions that included an unusually high tip.
Note: The threshold values for POS checks are pre-defined in the setup wizards. For more information, see the Synergy Setup Wizards Guide on the Synectics Global Support Portal.
Use the Search Filters to narrow your report to transactions within a specific timeframe or that contain specific data. You can also filter the data by selecting column-level values. For details on filtering reports with column-level values, see Filtering Reports on page 1.
To generate a report, when the data that you want is displayed, select an output format and click the Save Data As button at the bottom of the Reports tab.
