Hiding Items on the Map

If using legacy maps and not the current Synergy Mapping, there are three buttons visible in the lower right corner of the Map Display tab. These allow you to hide camera, alarm, and other map icons from view when you need greater map visibility.

Synergy Mapping offers alternative solutions for this such as clustering.

Click the appropriate button to toggle between showing and hiding these items from view, as needed. When you hide items on the map, the icon on the corresponding button turns grey.

You can also show only devices in specific device groups by clicking Select Group, selecting a device group and clicking Ok.

Note: You will need permission to show or hide alarms, cameras and other items. For further details, see your Synectics administrator.
