Copying Incidents

If you want to make a copy of an incident and save it to the incident locker, select it from the list in the View Locker Contents- <locker name> dialog.

To make copies of multiple incidents, press hold the Shift key and select the required incident from the list.

Click the Copy Incident button.

Select the evidence locker to which you wish to store the copy. A copy of the incident is saved to that locker with a new ID number.

Copying Images and POS Data

You can also copy images and POS transactions for an incident. To do this, use the configuration setting <lockerIncidentCopySelectNewLocker>true</lockerIncidentCopySelectNewLocker>.

Copying Duplicate Incidents to Other Incident Lockers

Synergy can automatically detect when an incident has been created and saved into an incident locker and copy a duplicate version onto a different incident locker. The copied incident will also contain any updates to the incident, if a clip is changed or added.

You can also limit the incident lockers to which an incident is cloned.

To use this function, you will need to add the following to synergy.properties on the server:

cloneIncidentsToLockerId=1234
cloneIncidentsOnlySavedOnLockerId=5432
