Taking and Saving Snapshots
To take a snapshot, click the Capture Image button in the Capture Image group on the Video menu at the moment you want to capture the on-screen image. You can capture an image while watching live or recorded video.
Note: The name given to an image must not exceed 50 characters.
The Enter Name for Image dialog appears.
Name the image, making sure that you do not use any special characters, and click OK. The Image Saved dialog appears.
Click OK. Your image capture was successful.
Alternatively, you can right click anywhere on the Video tab to bring up its context menu, as shown in the following screenshot:
Select Capture Image at the moment you want to capture the on-screen image. The Enter Name for Image dialog appears.
Name the image and click OK. The image is now saved to the directory designated for captured images during system setup (the default is C:\Program Files\Synectics\Synergy\image) and an Image Capture Notify command is logged in the command report.
Note: If you want to set up snapshots so that they can be saved directly to an incident, set the client configuration setting checkCapturedImageToIncident to true. With this setting enabled, Synergy will then ask if you want to save to an incident directly at the point of saving.
