The Comments Tab
Use the Comments tab to view, edit, and add comments to an incident. The following is a screenshot of the Comments tab.
The tab includes the name of the user who entered the comment and a timestamp for each comment.
If you want to edit a comment, select it in the list and click the View/Edit Comment button.
The Incident Comment Details dialog appears.
Enter your edits in the window and click OK.
To add a new comment, click the Add Comment button.
The Incident Comment Details dialog appears.
Enter your comment in the window and click OK.
To delete a comment, select it in the list and click the Delete Comment button.
The Confirm Deletion of Comment dialog appears.
Click Yes. When you are finished entering or editing incident details, click Save. The Incident Save confirmation message appears.
Click OK.
If two people attempt to enter a comment simultaneously, only the last person's comments will be saved. If you are likely to have this situation, you can make sure both comments are merged by setting the configuration setting checkIncidentSaveCheckComments to true.
