Message and Alarm Handling

Synergy offers customized example views and tabs that allow operators to process incoming messages/alarms and decide whether they can be acknowledged and closed or should be progressed into incidents.

The Waiting Loop Tab

Incoming messages or alarms are grouped into an alarm stack in the Waiting Loop tab. The list of messages or alarms in this stack are listed in order of priority. If an alarm comes in with a higher priority than the existing alarms, it will automatically jump to the top of the list.

The operator can view further details by clicking on any of the alarms. The alarm will open up in the First Contact tab and the operator can view and edit the alarm details as required.

The First Contact Tab

This tab is fully customizable and will show fields based on the selections in the drop-down boxes. From here the operator can make a choice to either acknowledge and close the incoming alarm, create an incident with follow-up actions or add to an existing incident.
