Locking and Unlocking Incidents
There may be times that you want to lock an incident, especially if it will be used for evidential purposes. A locked incident cannot be edited or deleted. Only users with the proper permission levels can lock incidents and unlock them later. To lock an incident, select it from the list in the View Locker Contents dialog.
Click the Lock Incident button. The Confirm Lock Incident dialog appears.
Click Yes.
The Confirm Permanent Incident Lock dialog appears.
Click No if you want to be able to unlock it later. To unlock it, or another locked incident, select it in the table and click the Unlock Incident button.
The Confirm Unlock Incident dialog appears.
Click Yes.
