The Evidence Tab
The Evidence tab is a record of evidential items saved to the incident, as shown in the following screenshot.
To add an evidence file from the local drive, click the From This Computer button. The Open dialog appears.
Note: As well as video evidence, it is possible to add other files such as PDFs or Excel files. See your system administrator for details.
The file is added to the Evidence tab.
To add a file stored on the Data Locker Duties/Diary Tasks, select the From Duties button. The Add Evidence From Duties dialog appears.
Files added to duties by Synergy mobile application users are displayed in this list. Select a file uploaded to add to the incident as evidence. Files are categorized by Video, Images, Documents and Audio. You can filter the files to display only the selected types.
When you have selected the desired files, click Select.
If you want to designate a level of sensitivity to the video associated with the evidence, make a selection from the Video Sensitivity drop-down menu.
If you want to make the file password-protected, click Set Password. The Enter Password dialog appears.
Enter a password of at least 8 characters and a mix of letters and numerals. Repeat the entry and click OK.
To view an evidence file, select it in the list and click View File.
To remove a file, select Delete.
